To reduce denim's impact on the environment, AGOLDE's shorts are made from a blend of organic and recycled cotton. Washed in a classic blue rinse, they're artfully distressed and torn for a lived-in look and feel.
Los Angeles-based AGOLDE defines itself as a fashion-forward denim label, experimental in both approach and design. Part of the same family as Citizens of Humanity and GOLDSIGN, the AGOLDE design collective focuses on sustainability and comfort, to create modern interpretations of classic styles.
'Made with 69% organic, 23% Pre-consumer recycled cotton and 8% Post-consumer P.E.T. recycled polyester. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilisers, uses less water and emits up to 46% less greenhouse gas than non-organic. Recycled cotton reduces waste, uses fewer natural resources and has a lower environmental impact. Recycled material reduces waste in the short term and uses fewer natural resources than virgin material.'
