AGOLDE's jeans are somewhat legendary...well, far more than somewhat, actually. And to top it all off, the label's next release approaches denim from a more sustainable angle, too, opting for organic cotton to reduce the call for pesticides (those chemicals that the natural environment doesn't like very much). The waistline is asymmetrically shaped so that it's stepped at the belt loops, and pleated at the front for shape.
Los Angeles-based AGOLDE defines itself as a fashion-forward denim label, experimental in both approach and design. Part of the same family as Citizens of Humanity and GOLDSIGN, the AGOLDE design collective focuses on sustainability and comfort, to create jeans that are modern interpretations of classic styles.
'Made with 100% organic cotton. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilisers, uses less water and emits up to 46% less greenhouse gas than non-organic.'
