AGOLDE is based in the epicentre of cool: downtown L.A. (yes, we’re a little bit jealous). As relocating out to the West Coast is still a dream for the future, we like to think of these Toni jeans as a slice of California. Spun from lyocell and organic cotton with a hint of stretch, they’re dyed dark and shredded at the hem. The result? An easy pair to pull on with everything from slouchy T-shirts to sleek satin shirts.
Los Angeles-based AGOLDE defines itself as a fashion-forward denim label, experimental in both approach and design. Part of the same family as Citizens of Humanity and GOLDSIGN, the AGOLDE design collective focuses on sustainability and comfort, to create jeans that are modern interpretations of classic styles.
'Made with 32% organic cotton and 66% lyocell. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilisers, uses less water and emits up to 46% less greenhouse gas than non-organic. Lyocell is made from plant cellulose. While chemicals are used in its production, it is a closed-loop process, meaning that chemicals can be extracted and waste water reused.'
