For her AW22 Alexander McQueen capsule, Sarah Burton was inspired by Wrexham Tailor’s Quilt – which was pieced together from scraps of fabric and embroidered with scenes from the bible and the industrial revolution. Staying true to the house’s penchant for tailoring, she neatly structures this woolly mini skirt with a high waist and A-line silhouette, before delicately trimming its asymmetric hem with lace.
