Cocoon Padded-Shoulder Wool Military Jacket

For her final collection as Creative Director, Sarah Burton celebrates Alexander McQueen's British heritage by exploring the anatomy of the English red rose. The Cocoon jacket, though partly inspired by military codes thanks to its golden buttons, takes much of its inspiration from flower petals, as you can see from the padded shoulders, cropped cut and dipped front hem. Let's remember that experimentation is always a given at McQueen.
