Before presenting the brand’s SS22 collection, Alexander McQueen’s Creative Director Sarah Burton instructed attendees to ‘look up’ to see her source of inspiration. Aware of the ever-changing skies she also prints the over-arching theme to the centre of this cropped T-shirt. Set against a backdrop of gentle cotton-jersey, the graphic depicts a blue sky alongside a gathering of storm clouds – a reference to the constant change of nature’s elements.
Headed by Sarah Burton, Alexander McQueen continues to reinvent modern femininity with pieces that combine technical expertise with contemporary relevance. From statement dresses, shoes, boots and bags to luxury loungewear and outerwear, classic silhouettes are reimagined with asymmetric cuts and opulent embellishment.
