For AW22, Alexander McQueen brings a mushroom-inspired collection to the runway. In a more overt display of the theme, this scarf is spun from ultra-soft silk then trimmed with the British label’s logo lettering – which is adorned with fairytale-like mushroom motifs. The symbol is interspersed throughout the typeface in varying shapes and sizes: a nod to the brand’s love of using inventive imagery to juxtapose the slick designs.
Headed by Sarah Burton, Alexander McQueen continues to reinvent modern femininity with pieces that combine technical expertise with contemporary relevance. From statement dresses, shoes, boots and bags to luxury loungewear and outerwear, classic silhouettes are reimagined with asymmetric cuts and opulent embellishment.
