Selfridges Says: The rose has long been a source of inspiration for Alexander McQueen’s collections, adorning iconic runway looks and even providing the theme for an exhibition at the label’s Bond Street store in 2020. So, it makes sense that the flower is the idea behind the newest addition to the brand’s bag offering, the Seal. Crafted from butter-soft Italian leather, it introduces a new emblem for the house: a curved, linear design based on the Tudor rose. While it may be a recent introduction for AW23, we doubt it’ll be long before it’s a trusty favourite.
Alexander McQueen continues to reinvent modern femininity with pieces that combine technical expertise with contemporary relevance. From statement dresses, shoes, boots and bags to luxury loungewear and outerwear, classic silhouettes are reimagined with asymmetric cuts and opulent embellishment.
