The late Alexander McQueen trained as an apprentice on London's Savile Row, so fabric manipulation within his eponymous label’s collections is aplenty. The Bow leather shoulder bag is one such example. With a body crafted from buttery leather, it’s woven with a single compartment in butter-smooth leather and suspended entirely from two twisted straps, after which the bag is named.
Headed by Sarah Burton, Alexander McQueen continues to reinvent modern femininity with pieces that combine technical expertise with contemporary relevance. From statement dresses, shoes, boots and bags to luxury loungewear and outerwear, classic silhouettes are reimagined with asymmetric cuts and opulent embellishment.
