Alighieri makes jewellery based around mythology, history and literature, such as this gold Libra pendant which comes from the zodiac collection exclusive to MATCHESFASHION. It’s crafted from 24kt gold-plated bronze with a distressed coin pendant that hangs off a fine chain and is embossed with the Libra zodiac symbol: scales.

Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
