Exclusive to MATCHESFASHION, Alighieri's 24kt gold-plated brass The Baby necklace forms part of the label's Infernal Storm collection, depicting the 5th canto of Dante's Divine Comedy. It's made in the UK and shaped to a fine squared chain from which suspends a distressed pendant illustrating the tale of lovers Paolo and Francesca, dancing through the storm in which they are trapped – formed using a traditional wax casting technique. Wear it as a subtle accent to a plethora of everyday ensembles.

Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London.
