Alighieri founder Rosh Mahtani copies out a canto of Dante Alighieri's 14th century poem The Divine Comedy most evenings to inspire her talismanic jewellery offering, including this 24kt gold-plated The Burning Stream in the Sky necklace. It's handmade in Hatton Garden, London with a slim cable-link chain and a sculptural curved pendant, textured and miscast for an aged appearance.
Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
