The Molten Flask at Sunset gold-plated necklace

Alighieri’s founder Rosh Mahtani visited her childhood home of Zambia to inspire pieces such as this 24kt gold-plated The Molten Flask at Sunset necklace. The pendant is hand-cast in Hatton Garden – London’s historic jewelling district – and threaded on a bright red cord that has an adjustable fastening.

Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
