Anaak works with disadvantaged Indian women to create these black Anneka culottes in line with its philosophy of craftsmanship and empowerment. It's made from crinkled cotton gauze that's shirred along the waistline before falling effortlessly down the wide legs.
Artist and textile designer Marissa Maximo works with small artisanal communities, especially disadvantaged women, to create her breezy, free-spirited dresses and separates in an environmentally-conscious way, using natural fibres like cotton (organic where possible) voile, muslin and silk, and non-toxic vegetable dyes.
