Anaak employs the expertise of local Indian artisans to expertly hand spin and weave the breezy cotton gauze forming this black Brigitte dress. It's made with romantic ruffles that outline the V-neck and back, then falls to a sweeping hem with side slits.
Artist and textile designer Marissa Maximo works with small artisanal communities, especially disadvantaged women, to create her breezy, free-spirited dresses and separates in an environmentally-conscious way, using natural fibres like cotton (organic where possible) voile, muslin and silk, and non-toxic vegetable dyes.
