Cassi Ruffled-Strap Cotton Top

Anaak’s white Cassi top is from the Chrysanthemum collection which is inspired by the beauty of flowers and artists such as Georgie O’Keefe. The lightweight cotton has a crinkled texture and is cut to a square neck balanced by romantic ruffled shoulders, then falls from the empire waist to soft folds and a slightly cropped hem.

Artist and textile designer Marissa Maximo works with small artisanal communities, especially disadvantaged women, to create her breezy, free-spirited dresses and separates in an environmentally-conscious way, using natural fibres like cotton (organic where possible) voile, muslin and silk, and non-toxic vegetable dyes.
