Anaak’s SS22 collection presented an updated version of the crinkled-cotton Cassi top by rendering it in a delicate baby-blue, inspired by the rich colours of Morocco.
Artist and textile designer Marissa Maximo works with small artisanal communities, especially disadvantaged women, to create her breezy, free-spirited dresses and separates in an environmentally-conscious way, using natural fibres like cotton (organic where possible) voile, muslin and silk, and non-toxic vegetable dyes.
