Anaak works with artisanal communities in India to create this light blue Margherita blouse, echoing the label’s carefree femininity. It’s shaped from airy cotton gauze with a crinkled effect and falls to loose fluted sleeves and a V-back with a tie front and a comfortable elasticated hem.
Artist and textile designer Marissa Maximo works with small artisanal communities, especially disadvantaged women, to create her breezy, free-spirited dresses and separates in an environmentally-conscious way, using natural fibres like cotton (organic where possible) voile, muslin and silk, and non-toxic vegetable dyes.
