Anaak’s white Nina dress is from the Chrysanthemum collection which is inspired by the fragrant flower markets of India and the religious and cultural significance of different blooms. It's crafted for a relaxed, loose fit from soft, crinkled cotton, shaped to a scoop neck and cropped balloon sleeves, then falls in tiered panels to a flared maxi hem.
Artist and textile designer Marissa Maximo works with small artisanal communities, especially disadvantaged women, to create her breezy, free-spirited dresses and separates in an environmentally-conscious way, using natural fibres like cotton (organic where possible) voile, muslin and silk, and non-toxic vegetable dyes.
