The cheerful yellow hue of Anaak’s Nina mini dress is inspired by the bustling flower markets of India and vibrant work of artist Georgia O’Keefe. It's crafted from lightweight, breathable cotton with a crinkled texture, then shaped with a scoop neck and cropped voluminous sleeves.
Artist and textile designer Marissa Maximo works with small artisanal communities, especially disadvantaged women, to create her breezy, free-spirited dresses and separates in an environmentally-conscious way, using natural fibres like cotton (organic where possible) voile, muslin and silk, and non-toxic vegetable dyes.
