Anaak’s pink Nina dress is shaped to a breezy silhouette that captures the label’s modern bohemian mood. It’s responsibly crafted in India from lightweight crinkled cotton with a scoop neckline and voluminous cropped sleeves that gather around the elbow, then falls from an empire-line waist with gathered tiers to a short mini hem.
Artist and textile designer Marissa Maximo works with small artisanal communities, especially disadvantaged women, to create her breezy, free-spirited dresses and separates in an environmentally-conscious way, using natural fibres like cotton (organic where possible) voile, muslin and silk, and non-toxic vegetable dyes.
