Anaak's vivid pink Pushkar skirt is made from crinkled cotton gauze that's expertly hand-spun and woven by Indian artisans. It's made with a shirred high-rise waist and tiered skirt that's accentuated with subtle gathers.
Artist and textile designer Marissa Maximo works with small artisanal communities, especially disadvantaged women, to create her breezy, free-spirited dresses and separates in an environmentally-conscious way, using natural fibres like cotton (organic where possible) voile, muslin and silk, and non-toxic vegetable dyes.
