Knitted merino is soft, airy and naturally elastic. The fibres can absorb moisture and draws vapour away from the skin, protecting it from getting sticky. The material also reacts to body temperature; it stores warmth when the body is cold and has a cooling effect when warm. Merino is naturally odour resistant and the slightly waxy fibre surface makes the wool water-repellent.
