Balenciaga – or more specifically, Demna Gvasalia – is always shedding conventions in favour of more avant-garde style, but for his latest drop, it seems he's restoring an old favourite: canvas trainers. Cut from distressed cotton to a low-top silhouette, the Paris kicks are set on a vulcanised rubber sole and distressed heavily to create a damaged, daring aesthetic. They're signed off with branding at the toe and heel, the latter of which is rendered in a distinct graffiti style.
