Baserange's 'Nape' sweatshirt is cut from a blend of organic cotton grown without the use of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, and hemp, which requires little water to cultivate. It's cut for a relaxed fit enhanced by dropped shoulders and has a ribbed turtleneck with an angular seam along the décolletage.
Baserange creates modern, minimalist clothing with an emphasis on clean lines and easy silhouettes. Favouring natural and recycled materials, it is committed to finding ways to reduce its environmental impact, from energy and water use to dyes and packaging.
'Made with 89% organic cotton and 11% hemp. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilisers, uses less water and emits up to 46% less greenhouse gas than non-organic. Hemp fibre is derived from the stems of the hemp plant, then woven into thread. Hemp grows easily without herbicides or pesticides, and requires relatively little water and land to cultivate.'
