Drawing from the minimalist shape of 19th-century petticoats, this style is spun from liquid-like silk and cinched with a gathered panel at the bust before falling to an ankle-skimming length. If you ask us, it summons all the fanciful whimsy you’d expect from a historical romance novel of the period.
