Birkenstock's signature Arizona sandals, now reimagined in black grained leather, were introduced in 1973 and have since risen to cult status. They're made in the label's native Germany with two straps that secure with antiqued gold buckles, then set on a moulded cork insole and EVA rubber sole.
Birkenstock can trace its roots back to 1774. Today, with its infamously-comfortable signature cork footbed and legions of fans worldwide, the still-modestly-priced brand is shorthand for sandals, with over 40 styles, and collaborates with the likes of Rick Owens to its name.
