In collaboration with Central Saint Martins’ student Saskia Nenaerts, Birkenstock’s black and white Terra sandals take inspiration from the simplicity of a footprint in the sand. They’re crafted from leather with a padded slingback strap, then are finished with an anatomically moulded footbed and rubber EVA outsole.
With its famously comfortable soft cork footbed, the 250-year old Birkenstock brand is enjoying a new wave of popularity, with its Boston suede clogs, Madrid and Arizona sandals stealing the spotlight thanks to cosy shearling and big buckle iterations.
