Since Riccardo Tisci arrived at Burberry in 2018 as the brand's new creative director, the label has taken on a new design direction inspired by streetwear and youth culture - a style that Italian-born Tisci has been known for. Take the Ernest trousers from the brand's AW22 collection as an example. The straight-leg design is cut from comfortable cotton twill to a relaxed fit with an elasticated waistband and cool drawcord ankle cuffs.
The Burberry name is inseparable from the gabardine trench coat it designed in 1901, now a fashion staple. Today, its artful approach to heritage style means outerwear for women and men is just part of a collection that spans red carpet dresses to the iconic Burberry check scarf and luxury bags.
