Although steeped in heritage, Burberry isn’t afraid to reimagine its iconic silhouette, and it’s all thanks to the British brand’s Creative Director, Riccardo Tisci. For Pre-Fall ’22, the artistic genius hacks up the label’s traditional tropes but sees them through a deconstructed, Gen Z lens; the classic trench coat is reimagined in jumpsuit formation here. Still bearing the outerwear’s double-breasted front and belted waist, this one-piece is slashed at the shoulders to be sleeveless and falls into straight legs.
The Burberry name is inseparable from the gabardine trench coat it designed in 1901, now a fashion staple. Today, its artful approach to heritage style means outerwear for women and men is just part of a collection that spans red carpet dresses to the iconic Burberry check scarf and luxury bags.
