Starting out with just a line-up of swimwear to its name, Casa Raki expands its horizons with a whole host of ready-to-wear pieces that can be slipped on with ease after a day well spent at the beach. Our pick? The Matilda dress. The mini is woven from lightweight organic cotton and shaped to a breezy, relaxed silhouette with a flowing tiered hem and long, puffed sleeves. All that's left now is to decide where to don it – the South of France or the Balearic Islands?
Casa Raki uses certified organic and recycled materials to create swimwear and airy separates, inspired by founder Josefina Alazraki’s childhood in Uruguay, and produced in a women-run factory in Portugal. Classic, minimal designs ensure a timelessness to each piece, in keeping with the brand’s commitment to sustainability.
'Made with 100% organic linen. Organic linen is made from the fibres of the flax plant. Flax is resilient and can grow in poor soil, using less water than cotton to produce. Organic linen is grown without harmful fertilisers, insecticides and pesticides.'
