Bohemian tropes are a recurring theme in Chloé's collections, expressed by these brown Ingrid clogs. They're shaped from smooth vegetable-tanned leather with buckled straps punctuated by gold studs, arching over a traditional wooden sole and high block heel.
Founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, Chloé upended the formal traditions of couture fashion with its bohemian aesthetic. Under icons including Karl Lagerfeld, and now Creative Director, Chemena Kamali, it continues to draw on this rich heritage to appeal to modern generations of Chloé girls, drawn to its free-spirited femininity.
'Fashions have a habit of coming back around and love them or loathe them, this spring/summer the clog has been reinvented by Celine, Isabel Marant and Hermès (as seen on Camille Charriere). The high street has followed suit, so you’re bound to see plenty of them this season.' 14 May 2021.
