Since Gabriela Hearst took the position of Creative Director at Chloé, the Uruguayan designer has infused the brand’s signature insouciant spirit with a sense of sustainably. This new-found ethos not only applies to the label’s silhouettes but to footwear too – take the Kacey sandals as a case in point. Designed to casually slip on before strolling sun-drenched streets, they’re carved from supple leather that’s sustainably sourced.
Founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, Chloé upended the formal traditions of couture fashion with its bohemian aesthetic. Under icons including Karl Lagerfeld, and now Creative Director, Chemena Kamali, it continues to draw on this rich heritage to appeal to modern generations of Chloé girls, drawn to its free-spirited femininity.
