Chloé collaborates with Mifuko – a social enterprise based in Kenya – and the World Fair Trade Organisation to produce this sepia-beige and orange basket bag. It's hand-woven from water-repellent fair trade paper and calfskin leather with a front slip pocket that displays the piece's maker and provenance, then complete with a shoulder strap and cotton drawstring lining.
Founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, Chloé upended the formal traditions of couture fashion with its bohemian aesthetic. Under icons including Karl Lagerfeld, and now Creative Director, Chemena Kamali, it continues to draw on this rich heritage to appeal to modern generations of Chloé girls, drawn to its free-spirited femininity.
