Crafted from a breathable blend of organic cotton, linen and TENCEL™ Lyocell, these drawstring trousers have a relaxed barrel-leg silhouette. They feature a utility-inspired patch pocket at the back.
A brand whose aesthetic has been so influential that it’s hard to remember what went before. But when COS launched in 2007 against a backdrop of fast, trend-led fashion, its focus on minimal pieces at accessible prices was a breakthrough moment. With a focus on style over trend, it heralded a new era for interesting, modern, considered design and changed our wardrobes for the better, forever.
'Made with 66% organic cotton, 17% linen and 17% TENCEL™ Lyocell. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilisers, uses less water and emits up to 46% less greenhouse gas than non-organic. Linen is made from the fibres of the flax plant. Flax is resilient and can grow in poor soil, using less water than cotton to produce. TENCEL™ lyocell is made from plant cellulose and while chemicals are used in its production, it is a closed-loop process, meaning that chemicals can be extracted and waste water reused.'
