The COS womenswear team have reimagined the classic leather loafers ahead of party season. Crafted from supple chrome-free leather by artisans in Portugal, they have almond-shaped toes that are softly gathered and rest on chunky curved heels. They feature a signature penny strap and tonal topstitching to keep them minimal.
A brand whose aesthetic has been so influential that it’s hard to remember what went before. But when COS launched in 2007 against a backdrop of fast, trend-led fashion, its focus on minimal pieces at accessible prices was a breakthrough moment.
