Denim maven Elena Bonvici started by cutting up vintage trousers into shorts and selling them at her school, to the delight of her friends. She soon developed her signature shape and two-tone style, which is a running theme in her label EB Denim. The Boyfriend jeans follow in these footsteps – crafted entirely from upcycled cotton, they're topped with a 2000s inspired low-rise waistband and shaped into an oversized fit with a slightly flared leg.
'Made with 100% upcycled material. Upcycling reworks existing textiles to make a completely new item of clothing. Textiles can be in the form of new but unused fabric offcuts or pre-worn clothing. Upcycling reduces waste and maximises the resources used in the creation of the original textiles.'
