This white Adrina maxi skirt was unveiled at Erdem's SS20 runway show, for which the wardrobe of Mexican revolutionaries from the 1920s – which combined colonial attire and native sartorial traditions – served as inspiration. It's made from cotton broderie anglaise trimmed with delicate ruffles and fastens with a concealed zip. Style it with a blouse and sandals to channel the label's feminine aesthetic.
London based designer Erdem Moralioglu’s philosophy is to focus on the silhouette, proportions and timeless styling. His pieces feature in the publications like Grazia and Elle.
Red Magazine Fashion Ecommerce Editor, Abigail Southan says: “Broderie Anglaise is summer's favourite fabric – it will never date. We mean it”. 12 May 2021.
