Selfridges Says: Whether he’s reimagining the nocturnal lives of female artists in 1930s Berlin or spying on the shadowy spirits of Victorian radicals, Erdem Moralıoğlu often pulls from the past to conjure each collection. And, for SS24, the designer seeks inspiration in the theatricality of Deborah Cavendish. This fairytale gown is entwined with bouquets of beaded blooms scintillating across the bodice and neatly nips in your waist with a slender belt, tumbling in tiers of wispy tulle to a flouncy flared hem.
London based designer Erdem Moralioglu’s philosophy is to focus on the silhouette, proportions and timeless styling. His pieces feature in the publications like Grazia and Elle.
