For SS23, Erdem Moralıoğlu meditated on the pursuit of preservation and the power of restoring an ancient artefact to its glory once again. Plucked from the designer's collection, the Chiara gown is spun from wispy silk and festooned with vines of opening florals trailing its sculptural silhouette, from the tied neckline to the floor-pooling flared hem. Then, as though this piece has been pulled from a portal to the past, it's trimmed with a sheer veil draped over the shoulders, echoing historical styles.
