Staged in the historical halls of the British Museum, Erdem’s SS23 collection is an ode to the painstakingly precise work of its restorers piecing together the decaying fragments of antique robes by hand. Plucked from the line-up, the Lindsay midi dress is spun from delicate panels of floral lace entwined with metallic threads before falling to a floor-pooling length. We wouldn’t be surprised if you saw this finely crafted gown exhibited behind glass one day.
London-based designer Erdem Moralioglu’s combines classic silhouettes with modern floral prints and contemporary details, in dresses, tailoring and shoes that never fail to impress.
