A special edition version of the solar powered Field Watch, produced in collaboration with Instrument Applied Design studio and paired with a leather carry pouch. Limited to 50 pieces, the charcoal dial watch is specified with a unique grey-brown strap, made in Germany using only leather industry offcuts. The pouch - made in the UK, also from leather offcuts - measures 12cm by 7cm and can be used to keep your watch safe during transit, or as a store for cards, change or other ephemera. A subtle caseback engraving marks the collaboration._ Inspired by the utilitarian style of military watches from the early 20th century, the Field Watch is built around a three-part, 38mm casing machined from 316L steel with hybrid 12h + 24h markings. Our Japanese-made movement is powered by a solar cell that has been engineered to sit underneath the dial. Both natural and artificial light will activate the cell, making it easy to maintain without loss in performance. One sunny day can charge the battery for up to five months. Taking cues from historical field kits, the watch also ships with a selection of care equipment, including a recycled RPET microfibre cloth.
