They consist of an ample shirt with a chest pocket and pearlescent buttons and boxer-style shorts with an elasticated waist, both made from breathable organic cotton blended with linen.
General Sleep blurs the lines between nightwear and daywear, with minimal, classic designs, made in India from certified organic cotton and linen, using green energy. There’s also a hand-loomed core collection, and offcuts are recycled into paper or labels to reduce waste.
'Made with 60% organic cotton and 40% linen. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilisers, uses less water and emits up to 46% less greenhouse gas than non-organic. Linen is made from the fibres of the flax plant. Flax is resilient and can grow in poor soil, using less water than cotton to produce.'
