Auckland-based General Sleep celebrates its New Zealand heritage with these dusty-blue bed socks. They’re made from a merino-wool blend that includes mulberry silk and brushtail possum down, which is a fibre praised for its warmth – due to the hollow air pocket in each strand – and has been native to the country since the first settlers from Australia arrived.
General Sleep blurs the lines between nightwear and daywear, with minimal, classic designs, made in India from certified organic cotton and linen, using green energy. There’s also a hand-loomed core collection, and offcuts are recycled into paper or labels to reduce waste.
