Matthew M. Williams’ SS22 collection for Givenchy was displayed against the backdrop of La Défense Arena, and, in the words of Vogue, saw the Creative Director focus on “grandiose proportions’’. Crafted in denim, this dress showcases its maker’s signature tailoring talents, while its sleeveless nipped-in silhouette and slim-fitting, peplum frame cinches the waist, accentuating the natural hourglass shape of its wearer.
Staying true to its Haute couture roots Givenchy is one of the most sought after brands of today. Under the creative genius of Ricacardo Tisci the collections are reminiscent of Hubert Givenchy’s mastery of sharp tailoring whilst also showcasing a rawer and tougher edge which comes natural to Tisci.
