Padded Silk Headband

The legendary opulence of the Viennese ball scene first propelled Henriette von Grünberg to craft gowns for herself and friends. Seeing the crown (excuse the pun) as just another opportunity to accessorise, the designer uses deadstock fabric to whip up a whole host of headgear, too. Swathed in pure silk, her headbands come lightly padded for a comfortable cushioned fit – none of this "heavy is the head" business here.
