Taking the classic working shirt and adding a feminine, playful touch for the sunny season, John Lewis has designed this cotton shirt to act as a versatile option for all year round, whether you're out on the weekend or in the office on a summer's day. It's cut with a slim silhouette, a classic turn-down collar, concealed button placket down the front, with a hint of utility-style thanks to the pleated, buttoned patch pockets. We used cambric cotton, which means it feels super soft and lightweight (and stays that way wash after wash), while the pleat detail at the back and a curved hem softens the boxy shape and makes it great for layering over denim as well as tucking in.
