John Lewis updated their Edge to Edge cardigan this season, using a light fabric with wool knitted into the fabric for a smooth, cosy texture. The brand created this style so you could use it as a trans-seasonal layer in place of a coat, using a special stitching technique to give it a heavier knit weight that ensures it holds its shape, too. A staple layering piece to add to your winter collection, it fits on the shoulder and gently tapers outwards to the hem, and we kept it pocketless and gave it clean seams and side splits for a truly modern fit.
