Lemaire’s beige desert boots are a testament to the label’s artisanal craftsmanship. Popularised in the mid-20th century when British army officers began wearing them for their durable yet comfortable fit, this pair is shaped with velvety suede uppers which are trimmed with suede then joined by a central seam and rest on a crepe sole.
The Lemaire wardrobe is designed to be modular, with supple silhouettes and a soft colour palette allowing outfits to be restyled and accented over time. Collections are produced in Europe, Turkey and Morocco. Bags and leather goods are made in Spain and Italy, where a collaborative effort with artisans has brought novel approaches to age-old techniques.
