Lemaire draws inspiration from utilitarian tropes to create this dark beige shirt, which is adorned with flap pockets inspired by storm flaps – typically seen on protective outerwear to shield from the elements. It’s crafted from twill to give a structured drape and has a smart point collar, then fastens with glossy buttons.
The Lemaire wardrobe is designed to be modular, with supple silhouettes and a soft colour palette allowing outfits to be restyled and accented over time. Collections are produced in Europe, Turkey and Morocco. Bags and leather goods are made in Spain and Italy, where a collaborative effort with artisans has brought novel approaches to age-old techniques.
